The word Unicorn comes from latin ‘Uni’ meaning one and ‘Cornu’ meaning horn. People have believed in Unicorns for centuries. Aristotle, Genghis Khan, Saint Thomas and Saint Gregory believed Unicorns existed. It is not just us British who believe in Unicorns, so does folklore in other countries. The Chinese believe Unicorns are wise and have the body of a deer, with hooves of a horse and an ox’s tail, with the horn made of flesh. The Chinese also believed the Unicorn has 5 Chinese sacred colours, red, yellow, blue, white and black. The Chinese word for the Unicorn is ‘Ki-lin’. Sometime in 2800 BC, the Emperor Fu Hsi wrote he saw a Unicorn with symbols on its coat and hence the origins of the K’i-lin written language in Chinese.
Some Chinese considered seeing a Unicorn as a good omen, birth of a good ruler or the Unicorn sighting give a warning to men. A scouting party for Genghis Khan reported seeing a Chio-tuan, a type of K'i-lin, that warned the party to stop the war, and that 'moderation will give boundless pleasure'. Upon receiving the report, the Mongol stopped his battle plans. Also in China it is recorded that a unicorn brought a piece of jade to the mother of the renowned prophet Confucius and laid its head on her lap. She took that as a good omen for what was to come. Around about the fourth and fifth centuries, merchants would come back from India with stories of a horse with a white body, a red head, bluish eyes and with a horn on its forehead about a cubit long. Sightings of unicorns have also been attributed to Julius Caesar and to Alexander the Great.
The Unicorn has been known to Western cultures for thousands of years and the Unicorn is mentioned in the bible many times, there are several clear references to them in the Old Testament.
Why are Unicorns here?
Unicorns are here to help the planet and its creatures to remove negative energy. The Unicorns main purpose is to help the animal kingdom to evolve into higher beings. The Unicorns sensed that many people respected the animal kingdom and that naturally humans and animals became life companions. They also witnessed human compassion and understanding for all animals. Unicorns were invariably present when an animal was injured or traumatised. This meant when a Reiki practitioner came to help the animal the unicorns saw this good deed, this then helped to persuade the Unicorns that some humans could be trusted.
Unicorns have agreed to assist everyone who works within the white light as they know their purpose is pure and we all have one common goal “cleanse and remove negative energy”. Unicorns choose a healer they can trust because after the attunement the Unicorn will leave its spiritual herd to remain with the healer for their lifetime.

The Unicorns friends the elementals
Unicorns always have elementals around them, this is because Unicorns until now, have always worked with animals and in the countryside, rather than indoors. Elementals are "Nature's Angels" and they have various names including Fairies, Elves, Devas, Brownies, Leprechauns, Gnomes, Sprites, Pixies as well as many others. These nature spirits are governed by the Archangels. Elementals have butterfly looking wings and Angels have feathered bird wings.
Elementals are afraid of adult humans due to our size, so they are more likely to be seen by children. They do not like loud noises or sudden movements from larger animals, such as humans. Elementals are usually invisible to humans, living among the trees, rivers, plants, bogs, mountains, and minerals. They attach themselves to practically every natural thing. They vary in size and are difficult to see as they have a high vibration so can blend into the element they are working with so are invisible and can camouflage themselves. There are larger elementals in the trees and undergrowth. They will also blend into their surroundings and their appearance resembles the tree or plant. The Green man belief is a good example of this. For centuries various cults have believed in the green man spirit who lives in the trees and forests of the world.
There are four basic elements of nature: fire, air, earth, and water. Within each of the four elements are nature spirits that are the spiritual essence of that element. A fire elemental may appear as a spark, a face in a candle flame or bonfire, or simply a sudden warm spot. A water elemental may be a cold spot. An air elemental could be a sudden breeze or tiny whirlwind in the dust. A smell, taste, or an unexplained pebble in your shoe could be evidence of the earth elementals at play. They are made up of etheric substance that is unique and specific to their particular element.
Like the angels, elemental beings begin their evolution small in size and increase their size as they evolve. They are a lower energy angel with their purpose to look after the earth energy - weather, soil, mountains, sea, lakes, trees and plants.
